Unit 72- Starlight Ramps- P1+2

Firstly we used a G clamp to secure the stand.

To add the top baton we drilled 2 holes in each beam then drilled 2 screws into these holes.

Using a counter sync we added depth to our hole.

However we drilled a screw that was too large. I just reversed the drill and took it out.

To even out the angle we cut the bottom bit of wood for the perfect angle.

Merchandise Order

*For FOH lighting Mr Hancock said there are 12 uplight LED beams where I can choose the colour*

The companies have not yet been put onto the system so instead I emailed asking if it was possible to obtain a proof before the order to speed it up.

'We’re looking to order 500 magnets with our own graphics on them. I have a few questions, the order needs to be shipped to the school by the 15th February, when would be the latest the final order could go through to receive them on time? Secondly is having a Photoshop format for the graphics acceptable and if so what other requirements are needed? As well as this would it be possible for a proof to be sent ASAP (if this can be achieved through this email that would be excellent).

Thank you

Sophia de Lancy Green '

I asked for an enquiry  for the keyrings and I will hear back within 24 hours:

I made an enquiry for the key rings.

Headshot Prep

I talked to Mr Fielder who said he was happy for me to use the studio and I will need to book it on the sheet. He also said Ashley in year 12 would be happy to do the photography for it. After the meeting I sent the following email to Mr Hawkins:

'The file size is to big so I’ll put the draft in my student Put Box- it’s called Starlight Express Programme 2.

Also what day do you want to do the headshots next week so I can book the studio? And Mr Fielder said Ashley in year 12 can take the actual headshots as I direct them.'
