Tuesday Morning

• I changed the artwork for the poster
• I sent the order to Andy
• I also completed and worked through our practice headshots
• We found when approving the artwork that the grammar in the liscense (a capital s) was wrong so I changed it

Headshot- Setting the Final Lighting and Prep before the 1st shoot at lunch

This 1st photo was too bright and looked too artificial and like day light.

Again only using 1 light made it still too bright on one side.

Then by turning the other light down it became too dark.

We tried turning the light to the ceiling but that again made it too bright.

We then faced the lights away and put the photo into greyscale (as it will be in the programme) and this created the desired effect.

Even those on their knees in the picture can be seen.

Headshot Trial

The front on view doesn't look as professional as the side on picture.

The lighting exposure needs to have less over all coverage and more cover on the face, the less exposure will also reduce the shine.

Even with the black background there is too much light, this needs to be lessened.

Meeting With Mr Hawkins

To do/info:

• The programme deadline is the end of January
• Finalise poster artwork and change present to 'presents'
• The send order to Andy
• 5 x A2 of each designs 1 and 2 (mixture of 5 on gloss 5 on board)
• 10 x A3 of each design (all gloss)
• Do a trial table centre piece

Monday Lesson: P3+4- With Mr Hawkins

• Mr Hawkins was surprised at the price of the poster and would like me to work on the designs.
• I looked at the cast page and Georgia's face doesn't line up so I'm going to quickly re crop the picture to fix this.
• One of my designs for the poster features a picture, for those in it I need to ask their permission to use it as the posters will be put up around the community.

FOH Dressing Mood Board

I like the tea lights in glass- in jars that would be in keeping with the filament bulbs- is this a health and safety issue and

we could use the fake ones from Les Mis.

A simple interesting centre piece will help draw in the table. These are simplistic and modern which will not distract from the whole space.
