Firstly using an XLR we connected the condenser mic into the computer to record the audio. |
Then we set up the mic stand, this hold for the mic allows the mic to be suspended and not be held by something with solid hard edges to distort the sound. |
As we used a condenser mic we needed to turn the phantom power on. |
The clip wouldb't shift to angle the hold down so instead we had to manipulate the stand. |
We added a boom shield, this adds an extra quality of sound as the the other substances such as spit are kept away. |
To ensure we could record into the computer we had to set the input to stereo and ensure the line 1/2 option was selected. |
To select a playback for the recording you right click to add a new audio track then you select mono as it's one mic. |
Then pressing the orange sound button you can test your levels. |
Recording the sound. |
Pressing the record button plays straight into Cuebase. |
