Front of House Set Up

The new space for front of house was black, hence there was limited light within the space, however using the basic central rig it will allow light to be shed on the space. This was the basic space I started with.

I needed to obtain the more current posters as the frames had the old date in them. So I sent of the order for those as well as the merchandise posters. The signs also needed to be re hung around the tent and the merchandise stand set up again for use on the production Monday.

Using cable ties I cut through the poster and hung the posters around the space.

I also had a group of Year 12s helping me set up the space. We had to transport all the front of house equipment from backstage to the front of the tent.

We made piles of the equipment in FOH ready to place.

Then we placed all the centre pieces and tables around the space:

We also nailed the signs onto the bar:

Then we split every type of plastic cup into three to place behind the three sections of the bar.

After that the space was ready:

The only health and safety point during the day was when Alisha and I spotted a screw sticking up on one of the entrances from backstage to the stage, consequently we told Andy and he drilled it back in.
